The history of Brim Tractor begins with the history of Bill Brim, Dan’s father. Brought up on a dairy farm in Longview, WA, Bill was only 22 when he became part-owner of his first tractor dealership. Bill was in the tractor business for forty years, from 1947 to 1987. Bill and Dan’s mother, Margaret, founded Brim Tractor Company in Lynden in 1966. Bill and Margaret not only weathered the constantly changing industry, they were instrumental in shaping it.
