Job Description
Full-time outside sales position specializing in selling: agricultural equipment, tractors, compact construction equipment, telehandlers, etc. The candidate will actively manage and grow a sales territory.
Requirements
- Proven sales success in the agricultural market.
- A working knowledge of Ag equipment: Tractors, Balers, Combines, and Swathers.
- Experienced in business development and account management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Possess a sense of urgency and timing.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Daily CRM input and maintenance.
- Submit expense and other reports on time.
- Exceptional self-discipline with a competitive drive.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate the features and benefits of a wide variety of equipment (as noted above).
- Comfortable calling on new and existing accounts, developing long-term business relationships.
- Ability to work as needed (additional hours) during the busy season.
Qualifications
- Prefer 3-5 years of sales experience in the ag equipment industry.
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree in: business, construction, or an agricultural-related field.
- Must have excellent computer, communication, and writing skills.
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
- Must be customer service-oriented and display a positive attitude at all times.
- Must be professional, efficient, and punctual with a good attendance record.
